A phaser rifle once wielded by Captain James T. Kirk has been sold at auction for a whopping $231,000. The one-of-a-kind prop appeared in the 1966 Star Trek episode “Where No Man Has Gone Before”. Toy designer Reuben Klamer created the rifle for Gene Roddenberry in exchange for rights to sell toys based on the design.
